UN Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) is hosting its 17th Global Roundtable virtually on 10-14 October 2022, in collaboration with Climate Action, and as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations.
UNEP FI’s biennial Global Roundtable (GRT) is a major global agenda-setting event on sustainable finance. This year the GRT is held under the theme of “Transforming Finance, Accelerating Change”.
The GRT will bring together decision-makers, experts and thought leaders on a virtual event platform, to create systemic impact by discussing topics including portfolio alignment with climate and biodiversity, adaptation, impact management and resource efficiency, to encouraging connectivity between the finance sector and the real economy.
Previous years of the GRT have successfully brought together leaders including Christine Lagarde, Amina Mohammed, Inger Andersen, Kristalina Georgieva, Mark Carney and Christiana Figueres, delivering insightful and concrete messages to advance sustainable finance.
