  • The Abu Khader Group in Jordan has announced the installation of a 25 kWp grid connected solar system and the project is seen as another significant offering as the group contributes to the advancement of renewable energy in Jordan. The 25 kWp system was installed by Mustakbal Clean Tech, a specialist in solar systems and photovoltaic (PV), which works on converting photovoltaic into electrical energy. The system is among the first grid connected systems of its size in Amman and is linked based on the regulations recently issued by the Electricity Regulatory Commission and implemented with the approval of Jordan Electric Power Company (JEPCO). Abu Khader CEO, Mr. Nicola Abu Khader, has helped to spearhead the new initiative and has encouraged private sector businesses to follow the lead and pursue renewable energy projects. The Abu Khader Group was founded in 1937, under the leadership of the late Nicola Abu Khader, who established, developed and managed the automotive and auto parts business.
